"As you have noted, the film market is still very active and alive. But the decline in use, against the background of the digital revolution that is touching many industries -- not just photography -- has led some to say film is dead. As a consequence, many question Kodak's commitment to film as well.
Kodak is committed to film. In the future, the film business will be a piece of a broader digital company, but the entire company will be focused on imaging across a number of consumer, commercial, and professional markets. And we will provide those customers with the best in both digital and film products.
.....
To perhaps more succinctly address your immediate concern, Kodak is NOT exiting the film business, and we expect to continue to manufacture a wide range of films for consumers and professionals for the foreseeable future."
Verschlusszeiten.
