This Nikon Z roadmap is not real

When I posted the above Nikon “roadmap” online a week ago, I made it very clear that the roadmap is coming from China and I cannot vet or confirm its authenticity. Today we still have websites racing to be the first to report the “leaked Nikon Z roadmap“.

The person who originally created the “roadmap” just contacted me to clarify that he kept that document going for years as a summary of all Nikon cameras (obviously I did not know that when I initially posted the screenshot a week ago):

“I don’t know where you got it from. It’s from my forum thread dated back to 2009.

It’s not supposed to be a roadmap, but rather a summary of all Nikon interchangeable lens cameras, and my wishful predictions of future products.
