edit: die Gitarre gab´s in einer auf 50Stck. beschränkten Limited Edition, das war in Euro 5-stellig, die jetzt vertriebene Unlimited kostet um die 3.200 Euros. In der Gibson Web-Site gibt´s einen Fehler. Das "zitierte" Ursprungsmodell der ES335, Baujahr 59 hatte Dot-Inlays (das sind die Lagen-Pünktchen auf dem Hals). Das Alvin-Lee Model hat Block-Inlays (das sind die Blöckchen auf dem Hals), die in späteren Jahren verbaut wurden. Und somit ist das original von Alvin Lee benutzte Modell niemals ein modifiziertes 59-er Baujahr. Die Modifikation ist (außer den Stickern) der Stratocaster-Pickup in der Mittelposition.
