"Father and son"

Father
Its not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy.
Youre still young, thats your fault,
Theres so much you have to know.
Find a girl, settle down,
If you want you can marry.
Look at me, I am old, but Im happy.

I was once like you are now, and I know that its not easy,
To be calm when youve found something going on.
But take your time, think a lot,
Why, think of everything youve got.
For you will still be here tomorrow, but your dreams may not.

Son
How can I try to explain, when I do he turns away again.
Its always been the same, same old story.
From the moment I could talk I was ordered to listen.
Now theres a way and I know that I have to go away.
I know I have to go.

Father
Its not time to make a change,
Just sit down, take it slowly.
Youre still young, thats your fault,
Theres so much you have to go through.
Find a girl, settle down,
If you want you can marry.
Look at me, I am old, but Im happy.

Sounds Of Silence (Simon & Garfunkel)

Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again.
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains,
Within the sound of silence

Otis Redding / Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

Sitting in the morning sun
I'll be sitting when the evening comes
Watching the ships roll in
And I watch 'em roll away again

[Refrain]
Sitting on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
I'm just sitting on the dock of the bay
Wasting time

I left my home in Georgia
Headed for the 'Frisco bay
'Cause I had nothin to live for
And look like nothing's gonna come my way

So I'm just...
[Refrain]

Look like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same

Sittin here resting my bones
And this loneliness won't leave me alone
It's two thousand miles I roamed
Just to make this dock my home

Now, I'm just...

Delmenhorst (Element Of Crime)

Und dann kommt gleich Getränke Hoffmann;
Sag Bescheid, wenn du mich liebst.

Ich bin jetzt da, wo ich mich haben will
Und das ist immer Delmenhorst.
Erst wenn alles scheißegal ist,
Macht das Leben wieder Spaß.

Listen - Lambchop

3807248c2fed9a7b9b.jpg

When things blink just right
Like they're blinking here tonight
From the corner of my eye
They came, to be

Tell your trouble to
Someone stuck here just like you
Sucking in the smoke
Like it's going out of style

And I'll listen,
To what you have to say
You said it any way to me
And you'll listen
something special is at work
it's really not a chore to me

So put me in a bag
Or bury me in rags
The lady upstairs,
she made, me strong

Can't make it to the bar
Can't make it to the bath
Caught and confused
You give it up for this

Cause, I'll listen
To what you have to say
You said it anyway, though you're not, too sure
I'll listen
Because it means that much to you
You're everything I do, or see

They may not work it out

"Mein Freund der Baum"

4528480c9b8ccd7a7.jpg

Alexandra

Mein Freund der Baum
Ich wollt’ dich längst schon wieder seh’n,
mein alter Freund aus Kindertagen,
ich hatte manches dir zu sagen
und wusste, du wirst mich verstehn.
Als kleines Mädchen kam ich schon zu dir mit all den Kindersorgen;

Paperback Writer (Beatles)

Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my book?
It took me years to write, will you take a look?
Based on a novel by a man named Lear
And I need a job, so I want to be a paperback writer,
Paperback writer.

It's the dirty story of a dirty man
And his clinging wife doesn't understand.
His son is working for the Daily Mail,
It's a steady job but he wants to be a paperback writer,
Paperback writer.

It's a thousand pages, give or take a few,
I'll be writing more in a week or two.
I can make it longer if you like the style,
I can change it round and I want to be a paperback writer,
Paperback writer.

If you really like it you can have the rights,
It could make a million for you overnight.
If you must return it, you can send it here
But I need a break and I want to be a paperback writer,
Paperback writer.

Titu & Tarantula, "After Dark"

1783648c46ad61642e.jpg

Watching her
Strolling in the night
So white
Wondering why
It's only After Dark

In her eyes
A distant fire light
burns bright
Wondering why
It's only After Dark

I find myself in her room
Feel the fever of my doom
Falling falling
Through the floor
I'm knocking on the Devil's door

In the Dawn
I wake up to find
her gone
And a note says
Only After Dark

Burning burning
in the flame
Now I know her
secret name
You can tear her temple down
But she'll be back
and rule again

In my heart
A deep and dark
and lonely part
Wants her and
waits for After Dark

Cat Stevens:

"Where do the children play?"

Well I think it's fine, building jumbo planes.
Or taking a ride on a cosmic train.
Switch on summer from a slot machine.
Yes, get what you want to if you want, 'cause you can get anything.

I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

Well you roll on roads over fresh green grass.
For your lorry loads pumping petrol gas.
And you make them long, and you make them tough.
But they just go on and on, and it seems that you can't get off.

Oh, I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

Well you've cracked the sky, scrapers fill the air.
But will you keep on building higher
'til there's no more room up there?
Will you make us laugh, will you make us cry?
Will you tell us when to live, will you tell us when to die?

I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

Johnny Cash:

Thirteen

THIRTEEN

Bad luck wind been blowing at my back I was born to bring trouble to wherever I'm at Got the number thirteen tattooed on my neck When the ink starts to itch, then the black will turn to red

I was born in the soul of misery Never had me a name They just gave me the number when I was young

Got a long line of heartache I carry it well The list of lives I've broken reach from here to hell Back luck been blowing at my back I pray you don't look at me, I pray I don't look back

I was born in the soul of misery Never had me a name They just gave me the number when I was young

I was born in the soul of misery Never had me a name They just gave me the number when I was young They just gave me the number when I was young

I can no longer shop happily.

Bruce Springsteen - Something in the night

I'm riding down Kingsley,
figuring I'll get a drink
Turn the radio up loud,
so I don't have to think,
I take her to the floor,
looking for a moment when the world
seems right,
And I tear into the guts,
of something in the night.

You're born with nothing,
and better off that way,
Soon as you've got something they send
someone to try and take it away,
You can ride this road 'till dawn,
without another human being in sight,
Just kids wasted on
something in the night.

Nothing is forgotten or forgiven,
when it's your last time around,
I got stuff running 'round my head
That I just can't live down

When we found the things we loved,
They were crushed and dying in the dirt.
We tried to pick up the pieces,
And get away without getting hurt,
But they caught us at the state line,
And burned our cars in one last fight,
And left us running burned and blind,
Chasing something in the night.

vom King:

You saw me crying in the chapel.
The tears I shed were tears of joy
I know the meaning of contentment
Now I am happy with the Lord

Just a plain and simple chapel
Where humble people go to pray
I pray the Lord that I'll grow stronger
As I live from day to day

I've searched and I've searched
But I couldn't find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind

Now I'm happy in the chapel
Where people are of one accord
Yes,We gather in the chapel
Just to sing and praise the Lord

Du musst das Leben nicht verstehen - Rainer Maria Rilke
(in der Vertonung mit Hannelore Elstner - "Das Rilke-Projekt")

3807248c50dbda9f7c.jpg
