


I received a tip that Nikon could be resurrecting the canceled DL compact camera system. The camera body design and lens specs could be very similar to those of the originally announced DL1 8-50 and DL 24-85, or maybe combined into a single 24-70 variant that is slightly thicker. The rest of the rumor:
- Premium materials
- Nikon’s Flexible Color Picture Control
- Stacked 24mp 1” sensor
- Will be sold with a leather camera case
- External smart shoe EVF will be sold separately
Please note that I have not confirmed this informtion with any of my other sources – maybe it is too early or maybe the above information is false. Nikon will definitely release a new compact camera. Early reports suggested a high-end compact Nikon full-frame camera with a fixed lens:
