Confirmed upcoming cameras:

• Nikon Z9II: most likely in 2026, we may see a development announcement in late 2025
• Nikon Z5II: expected around May 2025
• Nikon Z video camera: scheduled for late 2025

Unconfirmed cameras:

• Nikon Z8II: years away
• Nikon Z7III: still a possibility, but not anytime soon
• Nikon Z30II and Zfc replacement: maybe in 2026

Unconfirmed lenses:

• More Nikkor Z cinema lenses (rumored for a while)
• One new Nikkor DX lens could be announced this year
• Nikkor Z 500mm f/2.8 S VR: maybe
• Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.4: maybe (to match/complete the Nikkor Z 35mm/50mm f/1.4 lenses)

Made-up upcoming camera models, a.k.a. clickbait rumors (I am sure I missed a few – there is a new one every week):

Nikon Zx/Zxx is used to mark prototype Nikon cameras for testing, and it is not a real name for a new model. For example, this is a Z6 camera distributed for testing before the official announcement years ago:
