Ein Nikon Motor Drive MD-4 musste an einer Nikon F3P (Press) offenkundig lange und hart arbeiten:
- Der Moduswahl-Drehschalter für Aus, Einzel- und Serienbild ließ sich nur mehr schwer drehen.
- Die Filmrückspulung lief nur träge.
- Eine der beiden roten Kontroll-LED leuchtete unerwartet beim Versuch auf, die Filmrückspulung zu aktivieren. Der Motor lief aber nicht an.
- Starke Verschmutzung außen und mutmaßlich auch innen.
